With over 20 years of experience in education and research, Julia Nowicka is dedicated to advancing the field of adult learning. At House of Skills, she leads the R&D area, supporting trainers in tracking industry trends and the latest scientific developments in education. Drawing on her extensive background as a market researcher, she provides valuable insights into client needs and challenges, helping to shape the organization’s expertise and support trainers in their professional growth.
She holds a degree in Applied Social Sciences from the University of Warsaw, specializing in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution, as well as Non-Governmental Organization Management. Additionally, she completed the Trainer School at the Intra Center for Psychological Assistance and Education.
Julia has held managerial positions, including Research Department Manager at the Copernicus Science Centre. She also led a research agency specializing in evaluations and studies for cultural institutions. Her experience includes developing educational programs and working with teachers from Tajikistan, Georgia, and Kenya, journalists from Ukraine, and social organizations in Belarus.
Passionate about mountain hiking, swimming, and Iyengar yoga, Julia is an advocate of design thinking and prototyping solutions. According to the Gallup StrengthsFinder test, her key strengths include Relator, Individualization, Ideation, Empathy, and Responsibility.
