Experiential learning

Experiential learning is the foundation of House of Skills’ approach to people and organisational development. We believe that adults learn best when they can experience, analyse, and practise new ways of acting in safe but realistic conditions. That is why we design development processes that engage, encourage reflection, and support lasting change. Because real learning begins where experience meets practice.

Regardless of whether we focus on individuals, teams, or organisations, for us the measure of success is a concrete change and its measurable business effect. That is why implementation is built into the entire process in our approach.

    Together with the client, we formulate clear and specific project goals. We define the expected outcomes – measurable, even if the effects may seem difficult to capture and measure.

    We take into account the people and the context in which they operate – a work environment that supports the implementation of change is a condition for success.

    We activate the levers

    We focus on actions that, with a relatively small investment, will allow us to achieve the expected result. We build motivation for change and support cooperation between manager and employee. We strengthen the sharing of knowledge and experience in order to model practices that will become a lasting element of change.

    We show the effect

    We continuously monitor the effects of our actions. Thanks to this, at the end of the project, together with the client, we are able to show that the planned change really took place.

Value

How do we ensure results in virtual reality?

For change to be effective, we take into account the people and the context in which they operate. Depending on the scale of the planned changes, context may mean the employee’s immediate environment (the relationship with the manager, the team they work in), the specifics of their role in the organisation, or the way the entire company functions.

Personal relationship

We focus on contact and an authentic relationship between participants, their managers, trainers, and consultants. We tailor the forms of contact (in real time and asynchronously) to the needs and dynamics of the development process.

Design

We care about participants’ engagement, motivation, and comfort. We design a sequence of activities forming an educational and development journey, selecting the appropriate duration, methods, and tools for each stage.

Interactive form

We specialise in interactive forms of remote group work that maintain attention, spark curiosity, and engage emotions – from training sessions, action learning workshops, and business simulations to interactive performances based on the drama method.

Technology

We adapt the required functionalities and technological tools to the intended goal and the client’s needs. The House of Skills virtual training studio is our unique way of working: classroom tools and modern technology come together in one reality.

We combine proven online platforms with proprietary solutions and tools for interaction, group work, and progress monitoring. Thanks to this, participants remain in contact with the trainer and the team, and the organisation gains real insight into the effects and dynamics of the development process.
