Coaching Essentials® is based on the assumption that every manager can act as a coach. The program is designed for people who manage people – regardless of experience and seniority in their position. We invite management staff, managers at all levels, project managers and other people for whom development of employees constitutes a condition of effective implementation of business goals to participate in the training.
Training objectives
After Coaching Essentials® managers:
identify situations in which coaching is an adequate and effective tool to support employees in achieving better results
freely conduct formal and informal coaching conversations
understand and apply in practice the structure of a coaching conversation, which in 4 simple steps helps the interlocutor “go ahead”
apply 4 key coaching skills, useful in various interactions (not only in coaching conversations): Listen to understand, Ask for ideas, Show your perspective, Show confidence
increase their commitment and independence by systematically practicing coaching at work with subordinates
build a trust-based work environment in which their subordinates effectively meet the goals set by the organization
Method
Coaching Essentials® consists of 16 hours of interactive activities in the training room. Participants learn the framework of the coaching process, following characters of a mini-series taking place in a production company. The content contains examples of well and poorly conducted coaching conversations. Based on practical examples it allows manifestations of coaching attitude, the structure of conducting a coaching conversation and the use of 4 key coaching skills to be observed.
During the workshop, we also use engaging group exercises, forum discussions and individual work. During the two-day workshop, all participants practice the coaching conversations in pairs several time.

How much is the training?
A two-day classroom training course is PLN 3,500 net. The price must be increased by 23% VAT.

Who is the training for?
Coaching Essentials® is based on the assumption that any manager can also be a coach. The program is intended for people who manage others, regardless of the experience or seniority they have in their position. Executives, managers at all levels, project managers, and other people who need to help their employees grow in order to effectively implement their business objectives are encouraged to participate in the training.

Why is this training better than other courses available on the market?
The program has been developed by consultants of The Ken Blanchard Companies, and adapted to the Polish cultural conditions by the House of Skills team of experts. It addresses the challenges faced by organizations where:
- Success largely depends on the level of commitment and autonomy of employees;
- Short- and long-term objectives are ambitious and require employees to continuously develop;
- Market challenges force dynamic changes in company operations;
- There is a clear need for innovations and continuously raising the bar;
- Leaders are expected to demonstrate partnership in management based on authentic relationships.

What is the duration of the training?
The classroom training consists of two workshop days (9 AM to 5 PM).

How to sign up for the training?
In order to sign up, first choose the topic, then visit the subpage of the selected training, and finally fill out the application form that is available there. You can either fill out the electronic application form, or download it as a file, fill it out, and send a scanned document to: szkoleniaotwarte@houseofskills.pl.

Will I receive a certificate after I complete the training?
Yes, after the training we will provide you with a certificate signed off by the trainer in charge.

Where is the training held?
Open training courses are organized at our HQ at Równoległa Str. No 4a, or in fully-equipped training rooms in Warsaw. Detailed organizational info (including the location) is sent about 1.5 weeks before the start of the training.

What is included in the price?
The price includes the costs of participation in the program, teaching materials, access to platforms, and other tools provided for in the program. In the case of classroom training, the price also includes lunch, drinks and snacks served during coffee breaks.

How can I pay for the training?
We accept bank transfers, while credit card payments can be made at our HQ.

What is the minimum and maximum number of participants?
We conduct classroom training courses in groups of 6–12 people, and online workshops for 8–15 people.

Will I receive training materials?
Yes, during the training we will provide you with textbooks and workbooks. If included in the program of specific training, you will also gain access to e-courses or materials available via electronic platforms.

Do I have to pay anything if I sign up, but then cancel?
If you cancel your participation 8 or more working days before the scheduled start date, we reserve the right to issue a debit note amounting to 50% of the training price. The resulting amount due will be deducted from the payment already made for the training. If the applicant has not made the payment in advance, they must pay the debit note amount within 14 days after its date of issue.
If you cancel your participation 1 or 2 working days before the scheduled start date, we retain the right to the full fee as for a duly completed training course. In this case, any payments already made are non-refundable.
